All three fits are cut from Japanese denim on the same block, so the waist measurement carries across. Raw pairs arrive unwashed and unsanforized — expect roughly one inch of shrink in the waist and two in the leg after the first cold soak. Rinsed pairs are already stable and can be worn as-is.

Size up one inch in the waist if you plan to soak them. If you are wearing them raw and dry, buy your true waist.
